We collect information you provide when you create an account (name, email, phone number), content you post (reviews, photos, check-ins), and usage data (pages visited, searches performed). We also receive basic profile information when you sign in with Google.

We use your information to operate the WagDay platform, personalise your experience, send notifications you have opted in to, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Sharing of Information
Your public profile, reviews, photos, and check-ins are visible to other users. We share information with service providers (e.g. Supabase for data storage, Mapbox for maps) only to the extent necessary to operate the Service.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@wagday.co.nz.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and keep it confidential.
7. Children's Privacy
WagDay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Your Rights (Privacy Act 2020)

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
