Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park
Set on the shores of Lake Ōkareka near Rotorua's iconic Blue Lake, this award-winning holiday park accepts dogs on powered and tent sites by pre-arrangement (excluding peak season mid-December to end of January, and public holiday weekends). A maximum of two dogs per booking are welcome on leads at all times. Swimming, kayaking, and native bush walks on the doorstep make it a paradise for active dog owners.

Stunning location right on the lake. Staff were great about our two dogs — just had to book in advance and keep them on leads. The swimming area is beautiful and our dogs loved the morning walks around the lake.
Really good holiday park for dog owners outside of peak summer. Pre-arrangement was easy, just emailed ahead. The lakeside setting is gorgeous and the facilities are top-notch. Note: check the blackout dates before booking.
Peaceful and beautifully maintained. Brought our lab in April with no issues — well outside peak season. The powered sites are spacious enough for a van plus two big dogs. Would definitely return.
