Braemar on Parliament Street
Auckland's most characterful dog-friendly accommodation — the only late Victorian townhouse in the CBD still used as a residence. Built in 1901, this beautifully restored 4-room B&B on Parliament Street near Auckland University has appeared in multiple New Zealand films. Dogs of any size are welcome at no additional charge, and the resident toy poodle Tina ensures a warm reception. Many thanks for your warm welcome upon our arrival in NZ and for your kind hospitality during our short visit. A sound sleep in a comfortable bed, followed by warm blueberry muffins in the morning got us off to a great start.
