One of the best dog beaches in NZ. Massive stretch of sand, great waves to splash in. Remember the off-leash rules change in summer — evening and morning only. Still brilliant.

Great beach but the 45-minute drive from Auckland is a commitment. Once you're there it's incredible — long open beach, your dog will be exhausted by the end. Worth it!
