I wish I lived in Wellington just for this place! 19 taps of excellent craft beer, dogs welcome everywhere, and the curly fries are dangerously good. Colin is a fantastic host.
Our go-to in Thorndon. My dog comes every weekend and everyone knows him by name now. The Sprig + Fern range is consistently excellent, especially the seasonal IPAs.
Proper pub with no gimmicks. Dogs very welcome, food is great pub grub and the beer selection is extensive. Board games available if you want to stay a while.
