Puketoki Reserve
A hidden gem of 34 hectares of lush native bush in the Western Bay of Plenty, featuring two loop walking tracks through magnificent mature forest. Dogs on lead are very welcome and will love paddling in the shallow waters of the Te Puna stream. One of the few shaded under-canopy walks in the region where you can take your dog.

Magical place just west of Tauranga. We brought our two dogs and they loved splashing in the Te Puna stream. Never seems to be too busy — a real gem.
